On April 20th, the Golden Age Group hosted a medical health workshop at CMAA. There were 125 people in attendance. The primary topic discussed was eye diseases like glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye diseases. Doctors and nurses from Thorek Memorial Hospital also informed the seniors about how important their eyes are to protect and to seek medical attention if an eye injury occurs. At the same workshop, banking education was also learned. This event was sponsored by American Metro Bank located on Broadway. The banking topics discussed informed the attendees how to bank, how to properly use and understand your ATM/Debit card, how to apply for a bank loan and also included home financing.
