New Mandarin Class Beginning III -- starting January 25th, 2010

A Mandarin class beginning III will begin on Monday, January 25th, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. For 12-week classes, the fee will be $100 (text book not included). Classes will meet every Monday. H1N1 Flu Clinics in Chicago

The Chicago Dept of Public Health will be offering free Swine Flu vaccine, both injectable and nasal mist form, for the next month at the City Colleges (Truman for Uptown folks, and Westside Tech for Chinatown folks) on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. They will not be offering the regular seasonal flu vaccine on these days.

Summer Literacy Program registration still open

CMAAs 2009 Summer Literacy Program, known as “Read, Learn, Go!”, began last Friday, June 19th, and will continue until Saturday, August 22nd. This program meets on Fridays and Saturdays every week and features activities such as reading, writing, craft making, and field trips to local museums, parks, and libraries for parents and their children. The program accepts children from 1st through 6th grade.
