It's time again for the Golden Age Club's Super Senior Program. This event will be held on September 30th at Chinese Mutual Aid Association located at 1016 W Argyle in Chicago, IL from 9:30 am until 2 pm. This event is open to all community citizens who wish to obtain a driver's license, renew their current driver's license, or take a written driver license examination (offered in Chinese as well as English). Vision screening tests will also be administered. Parking Placards can also be applied for at the event.
The Golden Age Club will host it's Mid Autumn Festival to be held on Tuesday, September 21st. It will be held from 10 am until 2:30 pm and will be located at Furama Restaurant. The restaurant is located at 4936 N Broadway Street in Chicago.
This event celebrates birthdays for those who are born between the months of July and December. There will be cake, music, singing and gifts provided for all. There are raffle tickets for sale at the event. Tickets for Golden Age Club members are $12 each while tickets for non-members are $19 each.
Come out and attend Mayor Daley's Senior Fest on August 18th.
The event will be held at McCormick Place North Building. This year's event will have room capacity for 8,000 City of Chicago seniors.
On July 30th, from 10am until noon, the Golden Age Club will host an event that will cover the following topics: Legal Advice, Social Security Advice, and Alden Lakeland Rehabilitation Center and Healthcare Facility information. Food will be served at noon and the cost will be $6 for non-members, but free for members.
The event will be held at Chinese Mutual Aid Association in the lower level. There is only room for 100 people to attend, so if you plan to attend, please contact Johnson Wong at 773-784-2900 and reserve your place at the event.
On Tuesday, August 3rd, beginning at 6:30 PM there will be an anti-violence get together at Buttercup Park located at 4901 N Sheridan Road in Chicago.
There will be Tai-Chi sessions held for seniors as well as others who want to participate. There will also be yoga sessions for younger people held in the park at roughly 7pm.

On June 29th, 171 seniors, including members of CMAA's Golden Age Club, enjoyed some of Chicago's great skyline views while dining on the Mystic Blue Cruise ship. The event was organized by Johnson Wong of Chinese Mutual Aid Association.

About 140 people of all ages attended a recent medical/health workshop held here at Chinese Mutual Aid Association. The workshop was held in the lower level of the facility and lasted just over 2 hours.

On May 10th, Chinese Mutual Aid Association proudly hosted the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at its facility in the lower level. A few musicians from the Orchestra played a medley of songs for the children who attended.
About 60 children took part in this festivity and got to listen to and hum along with the songs that were played. Many of the children sat in amazement as the musicians played. The event lasted for about an hour and a half.
