HARIKA PRATAPA

Harika is a Board Liaison and Administrative Assistant at CMAA. She is responsible for researching, prioritizing, and following up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Executive Director and the Organization (Management). Harika attends and assists Board Meetings by accurately recording minutes. She assists the Executive Director, Director of Finance, Director of Strategic Initiatives, and Director of Administration and Board Committees with meeting logistics and board meeting materials. She prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information. Harika came from India. She started in CMAA as an adult education client and then moved to the workforce, which landed her this job.

 

Harika is a postgraduate student in the field of automation and mechanical engineering. She is a gold medalist. In India, she worked as an assistant professor at an engineering college, teaching robotics to students in their final year of graduation. She is involved in various administrative tasks that go hand in hand with the head of the department. Harika also worked as a STEM instructor teaching elementary to high school students how AI and machine learning work, Arduino uno projects, and the basics of coding by preparing the teaching materials. Harika worked as a computer science and technology teacher and class teacher at  SFS Central Syllabus School.
 

Harika is good at researching materials, making reports, taking notes, making timetables, and scheduling meetings and presentations effectively. She is an enthusiastic, explorable person and a great & proud mother of two boys. She speaks Telugu and English fluently.

 

FUN FACT| Harika likes to make 3D designs on Tinkercad. She likes doing yoga, swimming, and taking her kids out for events.
