Laura Lee is a long time community banker who specializes in small business and community lending. She has worked for more than 20 years at several banks located in the Uptown neighborhood. She is currently a Vice President with International Bank of Chicago. In her service as a community banker, she works with many multi-cultural clients from all walks of life and backgrounds. She understands the unique challenges faced by small business owners and barriers that are often experienced by new immigrants and minorities. Through various community loan programs, she has been able to assist her clients toward achieving their “American Dreams”; whether it is buying their first home or starting their own business. Laura has been a CMAA Board member since 1999.

 

She joined CMAA because of the vital services the agency provides to the disadvantaged members of our community. As a first generation immigrant from Hong Kong, she saw an opportunity to get involved in an organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of Chinese and other immigrants and

refugees.
